RECENT archaeological work in Cheshire will be the subject for the April meeting of Nantwich Historical Society.
This will be the last meeting of the current session and the speaker will be Adrian Tindall, County Archaeologist.
The new session of meetings will begin later in 2001, commencing on Wednesday, October 3.
The April meeting will take place at Nantwich Library on Wednesday, April 4, at 7.45pm and all visitors are welcome with entrance priced at £1.
The society is also to plant an Oak tree to celebrate the new millennium and this is to take place at Coronation Gardens on Monday, April 2, at 4pm.
