SOUTH Cheshire College is holding a disability awareness day to promote sporting opportunities for local youngsters with special needs.
In conjunction with Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council, the college will host the event at the Victoria Community Centre, Crewe, tomorrow, Friday, from 10 am till 12 noon and 1pm till 3pm.
Students on the HND Leisure Management course have organised the event and will also help deliver the sessions with specialist coaches coming in to lead such activities as football, wheelchair basketball, archery, cricket and boccia.
The awareness day has been supported by Walden Trust, Morrisons and the Tackling Disadvantaged Unit.
