GRANGE women's soccer team were disappointed to take only a point in a 2-2 draw after twice leading against Preston North End with an injury-stricken squad.
Abi Wynn opened the scoring on 20 minutes, banging in a Maddie Davidson cross.
Preston quickly equalised with a deflected shot but the tightly-marked Rachel Nolan managed to break free and score on 61 minutes following another through ball from Davidson.
Preston's equaliser came when the Grange players stood still when appealing for what looked a blatant hand ball.
Sweeney, captianed the side for the first time in recognition of her outstanding attitude and form.
Davidson was player of the match for a tremendous display.
