ALL the frustrations of a nightmare start to the Super League season for Warrington were obvious against Salford City Reds.
The fans were booing, the players trudged off the field without acknowledging the supporters and the dressing room was a gloomy place to be.
Wolves' loose forward Tawera Nikau admitted to be frustrated about the poor start.
He said: "At the end of the game I think the players went straight off the field because they were disappointed with themselves.
"I can see why the fans are disappointed. In three league games we have't played very well and we've had two losses at home.
"I don't think we'll get much support going into the semi-final with the way we have been playing.
"I don't blame them really. They are entitled to their opinion and we've got to pull our finger out."
Nikau has been one of the Wolves' form players so far this year but he was far short of his best against Salford, not unlike the majority of his teammates.
He said: "The last two weeks have been disappointing and the lads were down about it in the dressing room after the game.
"There's only one way from here. To get back up for the semi-final we've got to be positive.
"We've got nothing to lose and we will have to play with that attitude."
