BRADFORD Bulls prop forward Brian McDermott is looking forward to renewing his rivalry with the Wolves' no-nonsense pack men.

McDermott was sent off in the league game at Wilderspool last season which played a part in the Wolves ending Bradford's 15-match unbeaten run - something the Valley Parade clubmen are still smarting about.

He said: "If I remember rightly I got pulled out for a high shot on Mark Hilton and as I stood up the next thing I knew I was being punched and it was me who got sent off.

"I don't want to say too much about our judiciary system but we came out of the hearing scratching our heads.

"If you look at all the games we have played against Warrington whether we have beaten them well or pipped them the actual physical battles have always been pretty intense.

"In the semi-final at Headingley last year for a good spell of the game they were the best side and on top but we knew we had the game plan to come out on top."

McDermott highly rates Warrington's Andrew Gee.

"Regardless of how he has been playing in the last few weeks the bloke has got history.

"To play for Brisbane Broncos for 10 years in such a great side is no mean achievement. You can bet your bottom dollar that on Sunday he is going to pull it out of the bag. Every time we have played against him he's always turned it on and showed what a quality player he is."
