I HAD to put pen to paper to express my delight on Warrington Wolves' performance on Sunday at the McAlpine Stadium against the Bradford Bulls.
I went down to Huddersfield, being an old faithful fan of 27 years, expecting the Bulls to whitewash us going on Wolves' past record.
But all credit to the Wolves who played out of their skins, proving to the critics and their fans that when they get their game together they are a team to be reckoned with, showing great character.
It was only in the last 10 minutes when the game was taken out of the Wolves' grasp. Maybe proving that it was their fitness that let them down on the day.
Also all credit to the Wolves' fans. It might have been five Bulls' supporters to the Wolves' one, but we out shouted them all through the game. It created a great atmosphere that seemed to lift the game for the Wires.
Again proving that we can't let rugby league die in Warrington. So get behind your team and Save Our Club!
