TWO masked robbers burst into Bargain Booze on Warrington Road in Penketh last Tuesday morning, threatened staff and stole cash and cigarettes.
Armed with a crowbar, the two men demanded the staff member opened the till and hand over cigarettes from behind the counter, then ran out of the shop.
The first man is white, aged 20 to 25 years, 5ft 11ins, stocky build and was wearing a balaclava. His accomplice, who was holding the crowbar, is white and of the same age and height, and was wearing a red and green Berghaus jacket with the hood pulled over his face.
Any witnesses can contact Det Con Ian Jones on 652222.
