BIRTHDAY celebrations got underway at the St Rocco's Hood Manor Shop at the weekend.
Customers joined staff for a glass of wine and a slice of birthday cake to toast the shop's third birthday.
Volunteers at the shop organised the day's events and invited local vicar Reverend Mark Chilcott from St James' Church in Westbrook to join in the fun.
All adults clothing was reduced to £1 and volunteers provided a cake stall, book stall and fancy goods as well as strawberries and daffodils.
All day refreshments were also available for anyone who popped in.
Shop assistant Corinne Tobin said: "We had lots of balloons and it was a lovely party spirit.
"We managed to raise just over £500 for the hospice."
