CREWE FC are eager for a return to action at Linotype, this Saturday.
It's been a frustrating week for Ian O'Reilly's side after the rain again took its toll at the Cumberland Sports Ground, forcing a late postponement of the clash against Padgate.
More disappointment followed for the club as news broke that two of it's brightest young stars in Adam Vickers and Gareth Brooks, look destined for Nantwich Town, next season.
"It's a blow as they are good players who have been with us since we started.
"But we wish them all the best and the door is always open to them if things don't work out."
The two are unlikely to figure for Crewe again this season.
"I have to think the club's future and we do have a couple of lads in the reserves who deserve a chance to establish themselves, ready for next season."
Scott Edwards looks an injury doubt for the trip to Linotype with Wayne Kappa looking set to retain the number one jersey ahead of Steve Harding.
