WINNINGTON Park Primary School has played host to visitors from around Europe.
As part of the Comenius Action Project, which they have been involved in for a year, pupils invited staff from other schools taking part to visit them.
Ben Palmer, ITC co-ordinator at Winnington, organised the event after his father Nigel, a deputy headteacher at a school in Coventry, recommended the scheme.
The project involves schools spending one week each month recording various weather conditions, such as temperature, rainfall, wind direction and cloud cover. The results are then recorded on the internet.
Two visitors from Finland, two from Italy, one from Sweden and two from the school in Coventry attended the meeting at Winnington on Monday, to discuss future plans for the project.
It is hoped that staff from Winnington Park will visit a school in Sweden next year.
