A DISTRAUGHT Dad has put out a desperate plea to the people of Northwich to help him find his missing 15-year-old daughter.
Leftwich County High School pupil Amy Dunne, of the Crescent, Weaverham was missing for six nights last week until the police found her in Northwich on Friday.
"She was very wound up and hyperventilating when she was found," said Amy's Dad, Andrew, aged 40.
"She was taken to the Infirmary but was OK."
But after so many sleepless nights, Amy's dad and mum, Karen, 38, are facing their worst fears again after Amy disappeared from home as the Guardian went to press yesterday afternoon, Tuesday.
Andrew said: "I can't understand it. It's really running us down. We're in a total mess and out of our mind with worry.
"Everything's fine at home usually and Amy promised she wouldn't disappear again after last week. She'd been at a friend's house in Frodsham.
"If anyone knows her whereabouts please, please get in touch with the police who worked so hard to find her last time.
"It's just not knowing - I can't handle it. You don't realize what this does to a mum and dad. She could be anywhere. We're ringing round everyone we can think of.
"She's supposed to be doing her GCSEs soon and was supposed to have a job interview in Winsford yesterday."
Unfortunately nobody knows what Amy was wearing when she went missing but if you see the girl in this picture please ring Northwich police on 01606 48000.
