RICHARD Anderson and Abigail Tetley have been selected for the A team to represent Cheshire at the Inter Counties Championships at Stockport on April 21.
The Winsford pair were picked for their performances in the pool during the recent Cheshire championships.
Winsford's youngsters came second to Dane Valley in a graded meet at Moss Farm on Sunday, clocking 22 personal best times in the process.
Star swimmers were Alex Hay (butterfly) and James Finney (backstroke) who both knocked two seconds off their 25m times.
Jordon Blackshaw (breaststroke) and Laura Cummings (butterfly) also reduced their 25m times by over two seconds, while some swam faster than the graded times and were awarded speeding tickets.
They were: David Cooper, Laura Cummings and Alex Hay (Butterfly); Tim Rolfe and Emma Almond (breaststroke); James Finney (backstroke).
First places went to Liam Nugent (freestyle); Emma Almond, Rory Little (backstroke); David Forster, James Finney (breaststroke); Sarah Gillam (butterfly).
In addition to this, both the girls and boys medley relay teams won their races.
The girls team consisted of Alex Maher, Rebecca Finney, Rosie Hay and Jenna Doherty, the boys team Alex Hay, Robert Charlton, Daniel Shannon and Rory Little.
