PEOPLE in Warrington are being urged to help the census run smoothly.
The census of population and housing takes place on Sunday, April 29, and enumerators have already started sending out the forms.
Helen Jones, MP for Warrington North, is urging people to take part.
She said: "The census is essential to the planning activities of a whole range of private and public bodies.
"It helps determine resource allocation decisions on billions of pounds of public expenditure which is vitally important to people individually and to the communities we live in.
"If people have queries about the census forms or want general information there is a helpline number and a website which can be accessed.
"In addition the enumerators will offer assistance on the doorstep when they deliver the forms."
