FORMER Liverpool and England soccer ace John Barnes visited Warrington to award the town's IKEA store a health challenge award.
The NHS Health Challenge Awards are presented to organisations which contribute to the health and safety of their communities, employees or pupils, and they attracted almost 300 applications.
IKEA won the workplace award for its interactive and employee-led approach to health and safety.
Warrington-based charity Making Space, which supports people with mental health problems, was also highly commended in the awards.
