STUDENTS at Verdin High School put a new slant on the famous musical Jesus Christ Superstar, with their production of 'The Judas Kiss'.
The play was three months in the making, with plenty of effort from a committed cast and was visually impressive with projections and usage of multimedia.
Drama teacher, Andrew Richardson, said: "It is based on the last seven days of Jesus's life.
"It is a mixture of music and drama, some of which was from Jesus Christ Superstar, but interspersed with our own devised pieces of drama.
"It is set in modern times and is supposed to highlight the theme of the mass media."
The play starred Matthew Ikin as Jesus with Marc Joyce as Judas and was performed at the school in front of a full house.
