Redhill...12
Woolston Rovers...30
ROVERS moved back to the top of the National Conference League Premier Division albeit having played four more games than West Hull.
However, the game was abandoned 15 minutes from time after a mass brawl.
The referee decided to protect the Woolston players, dismissing three Redhill players along with Rovers' Dan Heaton. The incident left Rovers' full back Mark Cosgrove badly injured.
Redhill took the lead but a penalty from scrum half Steve Martin and 10 minutes later, a long ball from stand off Graham Smith found Heaton who sent centre Mark Wallington clear and he put winger Danny Williams in.
Martin converted that try, another penalty and then the next try scored by Heaton.
Jon cole leaped to score from a Martin bomb then G. Smith finished a move created by Shaun Geritas, Wallington and Williams.
Redhill hit back but Geritas added another try before the game was stopped.
Outstanding were stand off Smith, wingers Mark Moran and Williams and prop forwards Graham Muckalt and Mark Shephard.
Rovers: Mark Cosgrove, Mark Moran, Tim Iddon, Mark Wallington, Danny Williams, Graham Smith, Steve Martin, Mark Shephard, Phil Dermott, Graham Muckalt, Shaun Geritas, Jon Cole, Daniel Heaton. Subs: Chris Clark, Dave Patterson, Nick Barnard, Neil Smith.
