PICNIC sites and country walks in and around Congleton have been reopened..
More than 1,000 acres of countryside were reopened by the county council at the end of last week following discussions with landowners.
The sites feature signs emphasising strict conditions, which include keeping dogs on a lead and encouraging walkers to stay away from livestock.
Local areas reopened are Biddulph Valley Way, Brereton Heath Country Park and Shakerley Mere and Timbersbrook picnic sites.
