POLICING levels in Congleton, Alsager and Scholar green are to be discussed at a meeting of the borough council's area committee.
The meeting is to take place next Tuesday, April 24, when Supt. Richards from the Cheshire Constabulary will attend.
The police presence in Scholar Green is among the issues to be put before Supt. Richards.
Re-opening of police cells in Congleton Police Station and general policing levels in Alsager and Congleton are also to be discussed.
Chair of the Committee, Cllr Paul Jones, encouraged any residents with concerns about policing or anything else to come to the meeting.
"Residents will have a chance to interact with the councillors and people who are speaking," he said.
The future of the area committee is also to be discussed at the meeting which is to take place at Church Lawton Memorial Hall from 6.30pm.
