IT'LL be a party atmosphere at the Alexandra Stadium, this Saturday, as Crewe look to finish a fine season in the fortress against Preston.
Recent home form has been outstanding with the Alex undefeated since the turn of the year, picking up 8 victories and a draw out of 9 played.
Tickets sales are reported to be over 8,000 at time of press which by Saturday could see Crewe sign off in front of their biggest gate of the season.
Supporter groups and fanzine organisers have been largely responsible for the sell-out push and they're also hoping to 'Make it Red' on Saturday.
Crewe From The Terrace website editor, Jules Hornbrook explains: "We're appealing to everyone to try and wear red. At Wembley, there were fans wearing away shirts or no colours so we looked a bit disjointed compared to Brentford.
"It would look great if almost all of the ground was just a sea of red for the Alex."
Crewe are set to show off their new home kit against Preston which is due in the club shop on Thursday, May 3.
