MARATHON man Barry Taylor is this week recovering after taking part in last weekend's big race.

Last Sunday's London Marathon attracted thousands of runners from across the world and Wistaston runner Barry was among them raising money for the NSPCC.

It was the fourth time Barry had run in the marathon and this time he completed the big race in four hours and 25 minutes.

"It is my hobby, I enjoy running," explained Barry.

"The time was slower than I had hoped for but I pulled a muscle in my leg and started feeling it at about the 10 mile mark," he added.

Barry was stuck at home on Monday when the aches kicked in but was back working with his business, Legacy Partners, on Tuesday.
