IT'S been a long time coming - but Nantwich's Millennium Community Clock is now up and running.
And the innovative creation by Welsh craftsman, Paul Beckett, is causing quite a mixed reaction.
Love it or hate it - it's been hailed as a fine example of modern clock-making.
But some of its critics claim that, although it may be cleverly made, it doesn't make telling the time easy.
Whatever your views the spectacular new attraction in the Cocoa Yard will surely prove a winner with tourists and a talking point for residents.

The clock, which has cost around £25,000 of which £18,00 will be refunded by the Millennium Commission, is now believed to be worth £40,000.
It is the only clock to be commissioned for the Millennium.
It was originally hoped to have it installed and working by September, 2000.
But its maker, a self-confessed perfectionist, was not happy with some inaccurately measured materials supplied to him. Replacing these delayed its unveiling and helped push the cost up by £7,000.
"But it has been well worth waiting for. It really is a work of art and very impressive to look at," said the town's Millennium Committee chairman, June Garner.
