REAL Nappy Week won the support of a Warrington MP this week to highlight the environmental and financial costs of disposable nappies.
Helen Southworth MP met up with Jenny Baker, the proprietor of Cotton Tails Nappy Laundry Service to find out more about the week-long campaign.
She said: "Real Nappy Week is an excellent initiative. At the moment nappy disposal is costing the UK millions of pounds a year and nappies are a significant chunk of the country's waste production."
Real Nappy Week, which runs until Sunday, April 29, is jointly organised by the Women's Environmental Network, the Real Nappy Association and the National Association of Nappy Services.
