NANTWICH Town manager Dave Cooke wasn't too concerned about his side's 4-0 defeat at high-flying Salford, last Saturday.
With safety assured, Cooke used the game to blood some new players and try out different tactics.
Two goals in each half wrapped up a comprehensive victory for the home side.
"It was the right time to have a look at one or two players and I'm not too bothered about the result. These are the games you've got to do it in and we made wholesale changes. It was a shame for our keeper Stuart Heaps as he's had a great season but had a poor game."
Cooke has promised to field full-strength sides in their final games at struggling Great Harwood Town on Friday and Atherton Collieries on Tuesday.
"We don't want to drop any further than the 16th place we're in."
League veterans Jimmy Quinn and Steve Davies could appear for the Dabbers on Tuesday.
