AROUND 200 jobs are to be created over the next two years as a new business opens in the borough.

A new branch office of London-based business 'chauffeurRide' has opened in Moreton Road, Wistaston and it is expected most new positions at the company will be filled locally.

Nigel Dixon, chief executive of the company said: "Cheshire is an exciting growth opportunity for us.

"We are keen to recruit local people with significant local knowledge of the roads in and around Nantwich and Crewe and pushing out towards Cheshire.

"We already have four hotels on board and we are actually in negotiations to extend the existing premises to create a call centre.

"It is our intention to develop a national call centre to operate through our Wistaston office," he added.

Mr Dixon added that some of the jobs are intended to be administrative with the majority being behind the wheel and full training will be given.
