SOME people have always said Nantwich is a model town.
Well it is now, literally, thanks to primary school children and a wonderful art exhibition in the town's museum.
The work of pupils from the Wyche and Weaver primary schools has been on display in the museum's New Millennium Gallery throughout Easter and proved such a success that its run has been extended until next Friday.
Among the pieces on show are some fantastic models of the town's tutor houses, pictured.
Museum curator Sue Pritchard was thrilled with the exhibition's success.
"We always display work of adults and local people so we thought we'd give children a chance over Easter," she said.
"It has been an enormous success. It really has been a joy to see their work and parents and grandparents coming in to take a look at it.
"We're hoping to establish this as an annual event now."
