BANK Holiday fun will help 'man's best friend'.
Manchester Dogs Home is holding its annual Spring Fair this coming Sunday, May 6.
In addition to the many fund-raising attractions the kennels will be open for viewing in the hope that some of the animals will find new owners.
The Fair at Crofter's House, Moss Brook Road, Harpurhey, Manchester will open at 1pm and finish at 4pm.
The Manchester Dogs Home has been saving lost and abandoned dogs for more then 100 years and collects animals from a 40-mile radius.
"As well as finding dogs new homes we home we can also reunite some owners with lost pets," said spokesman Andy Bowles.
