THE latest offering on the Warrington bar scene doesn't have any skeletons hidden in the closet.
Instead, The Friar Penketh on Friars Gate has all its secrets on display.
The new Wetherspoons pub opened its doors on Wednesday after an eight month building project, costing more than £1 million, which unearthed a grisly collection of gruesome skeletons from the site which was once home to a thirteenth century Friary Church.
The chain prides itself on being music free, having a ban on pool tables and no smoking sections and paintings, photos and text relating to the history of the area will be displayed around the pub.
