KIDS swapped their school desks for the checkouts at Asda on Thursday when mums took their children to work.
The event was part of the store's 'Stand Up For Kids' campaign, which gave a new meaning to child's play, bringing youngsters into the store to learn about teamwork and computer skills.
Children also got tips from bakers, fishmongers and greengrocers on craft schemes.
