POLICE are searching for three youths who attacked a man with a glass bottle in broad daylight as he walked home from his local shop.
The 26-year-old was walking along Perth Close in Cinnamon Brow on Friday, April 13 at around 5.30pm. As he passed the playground area he was attacked by three young men who smashed a bottle over his head and then continued to attack him as he lay on the floor.
The attackers are described as being in their late teens or early 20s. One man was around 6ft tall of proportionate build and had dark hair with a fringe and a scar near his left eye. He was wearing a white tracksuit top and blue shellsuit bottoms. The second offender is around 5ft 9ins tall with blonde short hair. He was stockier in build and wore a white shell suit. The third male is described only as being short with dark hair. The unprovoked attack left the victim requiring stitches to his head at hospital.
