MEDIA students at Warrington Collegiate have resurrected a commemorative plaque in Widnes.
Four film students have been researching the origins of the folk-classic Homeward Bound by Paul Simon. Legend has it that Simon penned the song as he sat in Widnes train station awaiting his train.
Plaques have been made in honour of the tale but thieves have made a regular job of stealing them. But thanks to media and business degree students Vicky Greenwood, Kirsty Walker, Christopher Graney and Alison Ellul, the station now has a replacement.
