DISABLED people and carers are invited to find out more about equipment which can give them a new lease of life at Warrington Disabled Living Centre's open afternoon.
The event takes place tomorrow, Friday, between 1pm and 4pm at the centre in Beaufort Street, off Old Liverpool Road.
Warrington Disability Information Service has taken over the running of the facility and tomorrow's event will mark the reopening of the newly refurbished building. It is split into several themed areas, including a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathing and toileting section to show what sort of equipment is available.
There is also displays of mobility equipment including scooters, chairs and walking aids.
Everyone is welcome during the afternoon. Alternatively, the centre is open between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and can be contacted by phone on 638867.
