EXERCISE classes at Woolston Leisure Centre twice a week plus walking, swimming, Scottish country dancing and English folk dancing are all on the health agenda for Curtis McFarlane, a 65-years-old who believes that fitness should be fun.
She goes dancing at Culcheth Sports Club and at St Thomas's School, Stockton Heath and is a member of the Ramblers' Association.
"I like enjoyable exercise, and I like the social side. The good thing about fitness classes is meeing people. At Woolston we do lunch twice a year for the whole class and smaller groups of us get together for coffee," she said.
Curtis, who lives in Culcheth and has two grown up children, is also a believer in a healthy diet - lots of fish, fruit and veg, a little meat, and, being a Scots woman, plenty of porridge.
