THE voices of pensioners from Warrington were heard in a special sitting of Parliament this week.
A party created by members of the town's Older People's Forum made the trip up to Blackpool at the weekend to take part in the annual sitting of the Pensioners' Parliament, which took place from Monday to Wednesday.
The campaigning group of pensioners joined the "march" from the promenade to the Winter Gardens to join in the debates which included a wide range of subjects.
Items on the agenda included pensions, long-term care, transport and quality of life.
The party included representatives from the Warrington branch of the North West Pensioners, the Association of Older People, the Normandy Veterans' Association and others.
