SANDBACH is gearing up for a record May Day Fayre.
The family fun day on Monday, May 7 will feature a lively mix of entertainment, culture and culinary delights.
There will be more than 200 market stalls, plus the retail market and indoor market and a craft fair in the Town Hall.
Street entertainers will also be livening up the town with some 'not to be missed' performances and there will be the traditional spit roast on the cobbles.
"Last year's May Fayre was a great success," said Charlie O'Rawe, the Borough Council's Markets Manager.
"I'm sure people coming along this year will have a great time too."
To accommodate all the fun of the Fayre, the High street will be closed to traffic and, instead, will be home to a charity market.
There will also be a range of antique and bric-a-brac stalls in the Commons garage.
Add to this, a junior Fun Fair on Scotch Common and you have a great day out for everyone.
The May Day Fayre opens at 10am.
