FOLK duo Chris While and Julie Matthews bring their successful partnership to Congleton this Sunday.
Their duo career began in 1994 when they toured Canada, initially as a one-off project, and they took the festivals by storm.
Since then they have toured solidly throughout the UK, Europe, Africa, North America and Australia.
Chris While's voice has been compared to artists such as Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny, while Julie Matthews has been compared to artists like Richard Thompson and Mary Chapin-Carpenter.
Their 7.45pm Daneside show is part of a programme of Celtic and acoustic concerts, and tickets are available from Congleton Information Centre, A and A Music or by ringing Eric Cox on 01782-51455896.
