WARRINGTON Wolves have completed their double signing from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Centre Ben Westwood has followed in the footsteps of scrum half Nathan Wood to Wilderspool.
Westwood, aged 20 and a product of Castleford amateurs Normnton Knights, has signed a contract for two and a half years and has cost the Wolves their record Super League transfer fee of £60,000.
As with Australian 29-year-old Wood, who cost the Wolves £30,000 to sign on Wednesday, a gentleman's agreement has been reached so that head coach David Plange does not field the new recruits against their former club when the teams clash at Wilderspool on Sunday, kick-off 3pm.
Powerful runner Westwood is being highly tipped to figure in Yorkshire's set up for the Origin series with Lancashire, which starts next week.
