IT'S the clash of the titans! Don't adjust your TV sets this Christmas as Warrington funny man Steve Harris gets ready to do battle with everyone's favourite ice queen - Anne Robinson.
Harris, the brainchild behind the Cheeky Monkey Comedy Club, was delighted to hear that he had been chosen to star on The Weakest Link Christmas Special.
The programme goes out on New Year's Eve when Steve lines up alongside competitors that include magicians and ventriloquists to raise money for his designated charity, St Anne's
Hospice for Cancer Research.
He told the Guardian: "I'm a minor celebrity now and I'm going to come away from that show famous. I've got no qualms about getting lippy with Robinson.
"I'm really looking forward to it, but also dubious that Anne will pick on me. I'm a big fan of the show and I know she's good at what she does.
"The producers have told me I'm perfect for the show and apparently these Christmas specials are a bit looser than normal. Basically, it's all a question of knowing when to back off."
