WARRINGTON'S continued links with Northern Ireland will continue this weekend when the Mayor visits tragedy-stricken Omagh.
Mayor Clr George Warburton and Mayoress Olive Warburton will attend an advent concert in the town tomorrow, Friday, at 11.30am.
Omagh, like Warrington almost 10 years ago, was rocked when a terrorist bomb hit the town centre and killed 31 people in August 1998.
The two towns were linked earlier in the year when a special Petals of Hope cultural exhibition was displayed in Warrington featuring artwork made in Omagh.
