A JUDO club with around 40 young members has secured a new base in Sankey Bridges.
Plans to build a clubhouse with car parking for the Samurai Judo Club on land off Wellfield Street were approved by the borough council's development control committee last Wednesday.
The club is moving from its current base near Kingsway Bridge in Latchford due to the threat of a housing development.
