WARRINGTON Borough Council is on the lookout for parent governors who have an interest in the future of education in the borough.
The council is looking for a parent governor representative for secondary and special schools to join the scrutiny and strategic overview sub-committees for education, culture and lifelong learning.
The representative will get the chance to have their say on education and will be a voice for parents of secondary age or special school pupils.
Clr Paul Ross, executive member for education, said: "We hope that many parent governors, who are interested in the future of our secondary and special schools, will come forward and apply for this very important role."
Closing date for nominations is 2pm on Monday, January 6.
