WORK is set to be done on a number of bridleways in Grappenhall and Thelwall over the next 18 months.
Work on the permissive bridleway from Ferry Lane to Statham will take place early in the new year, with the creation of Laskey Lane bridleway set to take place some time in the 2003-2004 financial year.
Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council also reports that parts of the Trans Pennine Trail - especially in the vicinity of Pickerings Bridge - are in a state of disrepair.
