IT was the night before Christmas Eve. I looked at the clock, it was 2 o'clock in the morning I tried to go back to sleep again, but I couldn't.
It was snowing that night so it was bound to be deep with snow in the morning. In the end I went back to sleep again and when I woke up it was 9 o'clock. I went downstairs and opened the door, mum and dad were already out, the snow was deep.
We made a snowman and went in for tea. When I finished I went to play out. I lay down to make a snow angel when I heard someone say "hello", I looked up and saw the snowman. We played together all day but when I got up the next morning he'd gone, all was left was his bright red hat and his orange carrot.
