A HOST of fundraising events are being planned for the New Year to give a Warrington charity a boost.
PISCES (People in Search of a Cure for Evans Syndrome) will be holding a Three Town 12-hour tandem challenge at the end of February as part of its Paint the Town Red awareness campaign.
The charity has a 24-seater bike and is looking for riders to take part in the event, which will cover Warrington, Widnes and Runcorn.
There will also be a world record attempt in the same month, when fundraisers will play darts constantly for 24 hours.
Businesses, schools, pubs and clubs and individuals are being encouraged to wear red throughout the campaign, which will run from February 27- March 3.
Another event coming up is the High School Musical Talent Showcase, which will take place at the Parr Hall on February 22. Anyone with musical talent is encouraged to take part, and entertainment scouts are being invited to come along.
If you would like to find out more about any of these events, call Michelle at PISCES on 488825.
