CHILDREN from Warrington's Butterfly Project celebrated the festive season last week with a grand party at Thomas Risley Church in Locking Stumps.
The project, based at Wilson Patten Street in the town centre, looks after children with life-limiting illnesses and the annual party gives the parents and families of the children the chance to get-together and celebrate the season of goodwill.
The party, paid for by Auto Trader, featured St Nick himself giving out presents to the kids, a feast of food, music and an array of fun and games.
Laura Madden, manager of the project, said: "Everyone really enjoyed the party. It gives the parents a chance to meet each other and the children were thrilled to meet Father Christmas."
