ST MARY'S Priory has entered the Christmas spirit of goodwill by inviting all denominations for a trip through the musical ages this Sunday.
The Priory on Buttermarket Street, Warrington, is hosting readings and a choir singing music from across the centuries at the event to be held on December 22 at 7pm.
The choir, directed by Sam Austin, will present this music during a traditional service of lessons and carols followed by seasonal refreshments. The music to be sung includes traditional carols like Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, and the Calypso Carol. The choir will also sing In The Bleak Mid-winter, and the Echo Carol.
Admission is free, so for more information call St Mary's on 01925 635 664 or contact the director of music on 07929 974 427.
