A BALL will be held at Mere Golf and Country Club on Saturday December 28 to raise money for the NSPCC.
Last year's Snowflake Ball - now viewed as one of Cheshire's premier society events - raised £30,000.
This year, though, organisers are hoping to go one better.
Among the prizes to be auctioned will be Audi TT Roadster, holidays and rare football memorabilia.
"The people who attend the Snowflake Ball are very generous and their support year after year really helps the many NSPCC projects that operate in the area," said volunteer organising committee chairman Adrian Brewer.
