STOCKTON Heath Parish Council is considering new ways of honouring a councillor who was forced to retire through ill health.
Eric Ridley is unable to be made an Honorary Freeman as, being elected as a parish councillor in 1995, he has not completed the ten years service need to qualify for the honour.
