A GLASS will be raised at the Antrobus Arms on Saturday, April 12, as landlords John Cox and Anne Styles tie the knot.

The couple, who took over at the pub at the beginning of November are getting married at Mere Golf Club.

"We have known each other for two years but have been going out for a year," said Anne, aged 35.

"We won't be holding our reception at the Antrobus Arms because we had already arranged our wedding before we knew we were coming here."

Meanwhile Anne is delighted with the way the first six months have gone at the pub.

She said: "It has been totally refurbished and decorated. It has come along very well.

"We have had lots of good support from our customers."

The couple will be honeymooning in Mauritius.
