Who is not eligible to apply for a Gannett Foundation Fund grant?
l Individuals
l Organisations that are not registered charities
l National or regional organisations unless the project addresses specific local community needs
l Uniformed youth groups
l Animal charities
l Medical or research organisations
Money will not be given to pay for:
l A contribution to a salary, whether part time or full time
l The promotion of religious causes
l Endowment funds
l General appeals, general contributions to costs or multi-year campaigns
l As a condition of receiving a Gannett grant, the Guardian will expect the recipients to co-operate with reasonable arrangements for publicity and in some cases may ask for the Gannett Foundation logo to be displayed on major items of equipment, such as minibuses.
