WESTON Point JFC sent their u13s football team into the UKPS Puma summer cup. The tournament was in the surroundings of Ellesmere College, Shropshire.
The tournament was a two-day event with teams from all over Wales, Birmingham and London.
Weston PoiontPredators started the tournament very bright, winning most of their matches on route to the final, only to be beaten by a golden goal.
Day two was a different story. The opposition teams were mostly Academy and Welsh select teams.
Weston Point Predators were up for the challenge winning all their games and only conceding two goals in over five hours of football. They then concluded the tournament in winning the final with a 6-0 victory.
The tournament proved to be a great weekend for Weston Point u13s as they scooped every award in the tournament, the first being the UKPS Puma Summer Winners Trophy, u13s 2003 UKPS Puma Summer 2003 fair play award and also UKPS Puma summer player of the tournament award.
